Responsibilities

  • Operational handling of the entire finder business for Bank Julius Baer Switzerland and global in adherence to the regulatory guidelines
  • Timely determination of periodic accruals for retrocession, trailer fees and finder fees
  • Frequently reconciliation of the data delivered to various interfaces
  • Periodic processing of commissions for independent asset managers and finders including maintenance of master data
  • Ensuring the dunning process as well as the correct and timely accounting of the remuneration
  • Timely dispatch of settlement confirmations to independent asset managers and fund providers
  • Unification and optimization of processes / structures in all areas both locally and globally
  • Consultation and support of booking centers worldwide
  • Organization and execution of regular training sessions for staff to ensure that legal provisions and internal guidelines are observed
  • Close cooperation with various stakeholders (Business Manager, Legal & Compliance and Finance Project Team)
  • Ensures that the Internal Control System (ICS) is globally implemented, maintained and tracked during process changes
  • Ad hoc analyses and reports
  • Project work (analyses business requirements, writes business specifications, testing etc.)

Requirements

  • Commercial apprenticeship or similar, preferable in the banking industry
  • At least 3 years’ work experience in the financial industry in a similar role
  • Good grasp of concepts, strong flair for figures, but widely interested in other topics such as Legal, Compliance and IT
  • Good understanding of finance related IT applications and MS Office products
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Service oriented and self-employed, good communication skills
